Maine Children’s Home for Little Wanderers

Every year, St. Giles’ provides donations, traditionally hand-knitted hats and mittens, to benefit the Maine Children’s Home for Little Wanderers at Christmastime. In recent years, those donations have grown to include new clothing, games, toys, bedding, and personal items for use by young people. Since boxes need to be completed during the first week of December, St. Giles’ begins its collections in early November.

Each year, the Christmas Program at The Maine Children’s Home distributes boxes of gifts and clothing to more than 1,700 financially disadvantaged children throughout the state. All items donated should be newly purchased and in original packaging free of dents, tears or dirt.

For more information about the Home for Little Wanderers, please visit their website at http://www.mainechildrenshome.org.

  • Two sets of hats and mittens
  • Pajamas
  • An outfit of clothing
