Welcome Home to St. Giles’!
Since we have resumed in person worship, we have been working hard to follow CDC guidelines to keep parishioners and our communities as safe as possible. St. Giles’ enjoyed a series of ZOOM morning worship services from April 19, 2020 through June 2020, but we are so pleased to be back home!

GILES’ OUTSIDE FAMILY FUN
St. Giles’ will announce our outdoor community events again as soon as the CDC guidelines permit. Everyone is welcome and there is no cost to attend.
Our Mission: Family and Community
Our mission statement:
“St. Giles’ Episcopal Church is a Christ- centered community with vibrant worship, reaching out with love and active support to each other and to the wider community.”
Children of all ages are welcomed at St. Giles. We worship and play in the nursery, church school room, and library in addition to our worship with caregivers and friends in the church. If you would like your child to have child care, please ask our greeters when you come in! We’d love to help.
Jefferson Area Community Food Pantry
St. Giles’ is the fiscal sponsor and food distribution site for the Jefferson Area Community Food Pantry.
The Pantry is open on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.
The Food Pantry is seeking donations of personal toiletries — soap, lotions, shampoos/conditioners — and diapers. Please contact Allison Brooks at 207-315-1134 to arrange for a drop-off of these items. If you know a family in need who lacks transportation to get to the Food Pantry, please reach out to us. We’d love to help to solve this problem!
ABOUT ST. GILES’
St. Giles’ has a strong tradition of welcoming and openness. We hope to make comfortable all people who visit, try us out, or come earnestly looking for a new church home, regardless of their religious background, social situation, or political-philosophical orientation. We feel there’s a warm place for anyone at St. Giles’ and we want you to feel that way too.
Within the Episcopal branch of the Anglican Church—that branch of the “holy catholic and apostolic church” stemming from centuries-old English tradition—any baptized person and anyone who desires a closer relationship with Jesus Christ is welcomed at the Lord’s Supper. Please feel free to receive Communion with us whenever you, your family, spouse, children, or friends are here
